I am so excited to announce that I have become the Pastor of Oakland Presbyterian Church outside Raleigh, NC in a former crossroads called “Cleveland”. Oakland is a 150 year old community in a community packed full tobacco farms and sub-developments. I am so excited about what God is doing in and around Oakland. There are literally hundreds of thousands of people moving to our community, commuting to Raleigh-Durham, and trying to figure out life. We at Oakland hope to be a place for people who have given up on Church but not yet given up on God to explore who Jesus is and what he has to say about life.
Above is an introduction video I made for the congregation at Oakland. I hope it communicates a bit of my heart and a lot about why I believe Oakland is a place ripe for revival!
